The role and contribution of women in modern organisations have been phenomenal. However, societal norms and other patriarchal values continue to stifle the progress of women leaders. The study's overall purpose was to examine the leadership styles of female leaders in managing senior high schools in the Central Region of Ghana. The study adopted non-numerical data and used a purely qualitative research approach. A phenomenological design supported the study framework, and the required data was collected through interviews. The target population for the study were female headmistresses and assistant headmistresses in the various Senior High Schools in the Metropolis. The study involved all six female headmistresses and eight assistant headmistresses in the Metropolis. The participants were sampled using the census to meet the study objectives. The data were analysed thematically. The study revealed that married couples use the participatory leadership style, but those who are single use the assertive style. The study also concluded that women leaders who are single and are farther from 60 years old are more likely to have problems in the discharge of their duties as leaders since men, per societal influence, will always try to resist the control of women leaders. The Ghana education service should package special incentives for women who aspire to achieve the utmost leadership role of becoming heads of senior high schools. It will motivate the young women generation. It is also recommended that women in leadership positions in the Ghana Education Service are advised to learn by updating their skills and competencies to grow in confidence and share ideas with colleagues in the same field to adopt and adapt leadership styles that have worked in other institutions to handle institutional challenges.

The aim of the research was to examine the influence of parenting styles on academic performance of students in Aowin Municipality in the Western North Region of Ghana. Descriptive survey design was employed to collect quantitative data from the respondents. The study targeted all final year public junior high school students in the Aowin Municipality. A multi-stage sampling technique which involved the use of probability sampling techniques was employed to select 252 respondents with 142 boys and 110 girls. The main data collection instrument was questionnaire with 46 items. Document analysis was also performed on the pupils’ end of term examination results. Means, standard deviation, multiple regression, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation and Chi-square were employed to analyse the data. The results revealed that authoritative parenting style dominates in parents of the JHS students in the municipality. The study concluded that, Authoritative parenting style predominates in JHS students in the Aowin municipality. There was a correlation between the parenting style of parents and the academic performance of JHS students. It was seen that, student coming from the authoritative parenting style had high performance than those coming from the authoritarian, permissive and neglectful parenting style. Students from neglectful parenting homes demonstrated low performance in school. It is recommended that policies should be developed by Ministry of Education to encourage parents to adopt appropriate parenting styles like the authoritative parenting style which has been revealed by this study as related to good academic performance. Management of various schools should collaborate with Parent-Teacher Association to organize seminars and workshops to educate parents on the influences of the various parenting styles on their children academic performance. This will enlighten parents on employing effective parenting style like authoritative parenting style that has been revealed by this study to correlates with high academic performance.

The aims of this investigation will be to describe the language style based on Spider-Martin Man's Joos: far from home films and to identify the dominant language styles of the movie "Spider-Man: far from home." The analyzes are based on Martin Joo's theory's five types of linguistic style: frozen, formal, consultative, casual, and intimate. Qualitative research design was used in the research. Content or document analysis was used by researchers. The information is gathered by watching the film and the conversation containing the communication language is detected. Then classify according to the language styles found in the film and find the main kinds of language. The results of this research are as follows in the Spider-Man section: Far From the Home." These five language-style types are Frozen made up of two data (6,7%), formal three (10%), consultants of six data (20%), casual eleven (36,7%) and intimacy consisting of eight data. The following are the types of language-styles (26,6 percent). The Casual style is the most dominant type than other types from the result of the percentage. In last place, the style is frozen.

This research discusses language style at the movie script of Papillon. This research aims to classify the type of language style and the functions of the speakers’ utterances in using language style at the movie script of Papillon. The data source of this research was YouTube “Papillon” which was aired on September, 26<SUP>th</SUP> 2018. This study utilized theories of Martin Joos' types of language styles and Roman Jakobson's function. Data from the Papillon Movie Script. Researchers have implemented qualitative research designs to answer the research question. The researchers used documentation as a tool for research. The researchers found 30 language-style data sets as a result of their investigation. The scientists discovered many linguistic styles. The styles are as follows: 1 data point or 3%, 6 data points or 20%, were discovered in frozen style; 11 data points or 37%, casual style 6 to 20, and intimate style 6 to 20 were found in consultancies. The following five roles were revealed in the language style: expressive, guiding, referential, metalinguistic and phasic. There were 6 data or 20 percent of expressive function; the directive works 3 or 10 percent, the reference function found 8 or 27%, the metalinguistic function discovered 7 or 23% and the phatic function discovered 6 data or 20%. No poetic function is available in the film.

The purpose of this research is: 1. To determine the description of emotional intelligent and leadership style in the Integrated Service Unit (UPT) Regional Revenue Management in Pematangsiantar. 2. To determine the influence of emotional intelligent to leadeship style in the Integrated Service Unit (UPT) Regional Revenue Management in Pematangsiantar. The research uses literature research design and field research. The population in this study were all administrative employee at in the Integrated Service Unit (UPT) Regional Revenue Management in Pematangsiantar, emounted to 42 employees. The type of data used are qualitative data and quantitative data. Sources of data used are primary and secondary. The data were collected through questionnaries, interviews and documentation. Test of instrument used with validity test and reliability test. The analysis technique used are normality test, qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Emotional intelligent and leadership style are good. 2. Emotional intelligent have positive effect on leadership style. 3. Emotional intelligent heve moderately corelation with leadership style then the level of leadership style can be explained by emotional intelligent. 4. H0 is rejected, meaning that emotional intelligent has positive and significantly to leadership style. The suggestions of this research are: 1. To make leadership style, the leaders should be provided opportunities for employee to be more independently in making decisions both individually or in grups. 2. To enhance emotional intelligent, the leaders should record data of employee to know their skill, knowledge or work experience
