Nowadays, graphs including bigraphs are mostly used in various real-world applications such as search engines and social networks. The bigraph or bipartite graph is a graph whose vertex set is split into two disjoint vertex sets such that there is no edge between the same vertex set. The bipartite graphs are colored using only two colors. This article checks if a given graph is bipartite or not and finds the color assignments of the bipartite graph using Java implementation.

Qualitatively, the study adopted a case research design. The population of this study comprised the last batch of Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) and the current first-year students of the new programme (Bachelor in Basic Education) of Mount Mary College of Education. Simple random and stratified sampling techniques were used to select 15 long essays from the final year, while 30 assignments were chosen from the first year. Nine (9) long essays from the English language, five (5) essays from Social Studies and one (1) essay from Mathematics. The main tools used for the study were students' assignment items and copies of long essays. Through an interpretative lens, the data were analysed into themes. The data and the analysis largely showed that students employed different kinds of modal verbs in their writing, including complete and periphrastic modal verbs. There was evidence that students have used these modal verbs in different ways that sometimes affected the intended meaning. These inappropriate choices are evident in both written texts and oral presentations. Findings showed that students employed modal verbs indiscriminately with little attention to contexts. It would be recommended that language teachers deal with the issue by giving written feedback on the use of modal verbs to students in their texts anytime they are given assignments.

The purpose of this study was to examine the challenges and management supports in teaching and learning of Social Studies in Public Senior High Schools in Akuapem South and North Districts in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Quantitatively, the study adopted a cross-sectional survey using a descriptive correlational research design to assess Challenges and Management Supports Teaching and Learning of Social Studies in Public Senior High Schools of Ghana. The population of the study comprised social studies teachers and students in the Akuapem South and Akuapem North Districts of the Eastern Region of Ghana. Purpose and probabilistic sampling procedures were used to select senior high schools, teachers and students for the study. The main instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire (SQ). Data was collected from 261 final year students from five Senior High Schools and 33 Social Studies teachers using structured questionnaire. Data was analysed using SPSS Version 24. Descriptive statistics (mean, SD) was conducted to summarise the data and t-test was applied to establish if there is a statistically significant difference in the perceptions of students and teachers on the school-based drivers and effective teaching and learning of social studies. The results of the study revealed that the key school-based drivers influencing the teaching and learning of social studies in the two districts relate to classroom environment; lack of management supports in terms of resource provision for practical lessons, lack of supportive physical environment such as large class size (t = 32.881, mean difference = 6.2422, p<0.05)- thus preventing teachers from engaging students in practical work and individualising their assignments (t-statistics=37.563, mean difference= 3.0920, p<0.05); and teachers inability to use diagnostics assessment tools to unraveled students difficulties and support them. The conclusion is that, the key drivers influencing effective teaching and learning of social studies are school-based and policy driven. The study therefore recommends that the government should support the teaching of Social Studies through provision of adequate resources to help teachers improve their output. Again, the student-teacher ratio should be reduced.

Monitoring and supervision in schools is a very important aspect in the educational process. The purpose of the study was to examine monitoring and supervision of curriculum delivery in the Junior High Schools in Ejisu-Juaben Municipality of Ghana. Mixed method research approach was adopted for the study. The population f or this study was made up of teachers, head-teachers and the deputy director in charge  of supervision in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality. Purp osive and convenient sampling techniques were employed to select the one-hundred and eighty-four respondents for the study. The main instruments for data collection were questionnaire and observation. The study revealed that monitoring and supervision was more or less just conformance to stipulated regulations and that teachers and head-teachers must comply without necessarily ensuring staff development to reduce limitations. The study also indicated that there is high level of impact of monitoring and supervision on Junior High Schools’ curriculum implementation in Ejisu-Juaben Municipality over the past years. It is recommended that, f or good performance, appraisal should be done at least by the end of every school term to ascertain staff performance on their j ob. It is also recommended that, for improvement of curriculum implementation, school heads should improve on; frequency coordination of all departments of the organization of visiting less on sessions, checking teachers’ less on notes, inviting teachers to observe him/her teach and checking students’ assignments, class exercises and pupils project work to ensure regular marking of exercise takes place.

Akuapem has received a great deal of discussion in Akan phonology. This paper examines a comparative analysis of final-nasal and associative construction in the Akuapem Twi in Ghana. This study adopted a qualitative approach. The study was carried out in the two main districts namely Akuapem North (Okuapeman) and Asuogyaman in the Eastern Region of Ghana. This study focused on the views of the respondents on morpheme-final nasals in Akan and associative construction in Akuapem Twi dialect. The population of the study consisted of speakers of Akuapem Twi in the Eastern Region. The target population therefore was the thirty (30) Akuapem Twi speakers in Akuapem North (Okuapeman) and Asuogyaman. The two districts and the respondents were purposively and conveniently used for the study. The study concluded that, the alveolar nasal consonant /n/ can occur as a final nasal consonant in Akuapem. The study also concluded that, in possessive construction, the associative floating H which floats between the possessor pronoun and the possessed noun (NP₂) is realized differently in all the three sub-dialect of Akuapem with the H docking to the toneless nominal prefix in Ofie and Akwamu and to the initial TBU in Kamena while the default assignment assign L to the possessor pronoun in Ofie and Kamena with nouns that has a [+Low] toneless vocalic nominal as it’s prefix. The study recommended that, final-nasal and associative construction in the Akuapem Twi should be emphasized in Ghanaian language curriculum in basic schools in Ghana.

The study adopted a mixed-method research approach. The population size of this study constitutes the last batch of Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) and the current first-year students of the new programme (Bachelor in Basic Education) of Mount Mary College of Education. Purposive and random sampling techniques were used to select seven hundred and seventy-nine (779) respondents for the study. A purposive sampling technique was used to select final year Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), made up of 312 and first-batch first-year students of the new programme (Bachelor in Basic Education) of Mount Mary College of Education, made of up 467 were used for data collection. A simple random technique was used to select 15 long essays from the final year Diploma in Basic Education while 30 assignments were selected from the first batch Bachelor in Basic Education students. Documents and interview guides were used for data collection. With an interpretative lens, the data were analysed in themes. The challenges in writing are the substitution of one modal verb for another, forceful insertions of modal verbs and improper modal forms. There was also proof that students were found to have used modal verbs in sentences that lacked the corresponding relationship with other clausal elements, making such constructions grammatically and pragmatically non-harmonious. It is recommended that there is a need to have a run-on design of the curricula by making sure that, a gradual introduction of modal verbs begins from the basic and low-grade level of the educational system to the highest. As these learners move up, they will correctly apply the verbs, changing from the core meaning of the modals to more complex uses. This concerted effort though will not be a panacea to the modal verbs challenge; it could mitigate he problem to a large extent.

Crime is a serious and widespread problem in their society, thus preventing it is essential. Assignment. A significant number of crimes are committed every day. One tool for dealing with model crime is data mining. Crimes are costly to society in many ways, and they are also a major source of frustration for its members. A major area of machine learning research is crime detection. This paper analyzes crime prediction and classification using data mining techniques on a crime dataset spanning 2006 to 2016. This approach begins with cleaning and extracting features from raw data for data preparation. Then, machine learning and deep learning models, including RNN-LSTM, ARIMA, and Linear Regression, are applied. The performance of these models is evaluated using metrics like Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The RNN-LSTM model achieved the lowest RMSE of 18.42, demonstrating superior predictive accuracy among the evaluated models. Data visualization techniques further unveiled crime patterns, offering actionable insights to prevent crime.
